I LOVE "Slaughter house 5" and can't wait to read it again. I haven't read it since freshman year of college. Cool.

That Lost list looks pretty interesting and really well-rounded. That could work--it's definitely long enough to last for a while....

I really enjoyed SH5 but especially as a vetran I could relate to the main character's "time slips" as flashbacks. I catch myself thinking of my time in Iraq both the bad and the good times. Also featuring the fire-bombing of Dresden as the ultimate backdrop to the book was interesting. It is definitely a book I need to read again to gleen all that I can out of it. It seems to be a book with a lot of hidden spots as well.

What did you think of Vonnegut's alter ego, Kilgore Trout, in this story?

I am behind (as usual) and promise a comment about the first half of the book this weekend and my thoughts for On the Beach. Did anyone read On the Beach?

Was "On the Beach," a different book or part of SH5?

Next time I will look before I post.
