The bean in Chicago is well, a bean shaped mirror. You have to fight through the crowds to get a good picture. I took the kids and said it was a "park," so they were upset there were no swings. After arguing with them to help take nice photos, I told them to go ask the crazy guy talking to the pigeons if he would take them home for $20.
The fun part was all the wedding parties at the park trying to get the perfect shot.
Ha! When we say to the youngest that we are going to the park, we have to differentiate between a play park and a nature park. I guess we should add "sculpture park".

The Bean is sort of lame. We went this summer after a day trekking around at the museums, so my kids were pretty happy to play in the water. Also because it was summer, we got to see a gaggle of teenage girls who were apparently part of a fashion camp. They were coated in make-up and wearing heels and big, flowy hair, but all their outfits were made of household items. They had done a pretty good job, too. I loved them. I tried to take their picture without freaking them out.
