For Tracey's Vintage Photo Friday. This is one of my Dad's relatives from Denmark named Lara. Love that name. You have to study this photo because of its perfect vintage charm - she is wearing a babushka, knitting, and look at how cozy her home is, you can almost smell the bread baking. They were farmers and the women were tough, probably could knit circles around us. Have a great weekend.
I love that picture--there is so much in there to look at and examine! Maybe I should start wearing a babushka? It could be a whole new fashion trend!

What a fantastic photo! It certainly looks like she led a good outdoor life! I wonder what she was knitting????

I keep trying to find this sort of table, they are always 800$. Lara probably built that thing with her bare hands.

What a fabulous photo! I went to high school with a girl named Lara. She was a Danish beauty.

What an amazing shot. At first I thought she was holding up a mask. Don't analyze me.
How perfect her house looks! So glad you are playing along.

That's my sister's name. For years, she hated it because no one could (or would?) say it correctly. Or spell it correctly for that matter.
But I'm like you, I think it's a beautiful name.
