I really want to spend time learning how to use my camera. The place I bought the camera from offers free classes, it's just hard to find the time. I tried to find a population sign for our town, but could not find one which is odd because they are everywhere. I found this instead:
The fall colors are just starting to appear here. Right now the trees are yellow-still waiting for the reds.
I did get this fabric a few days ago from Nuno:
I love the turtle fabric. The one on the bottom is Winnie the Pooh, which is E's favorite. I hope I make something out of it before he tires of Pooh and his friends. I have to stop looking at these Japanese fabric sites, my eyes glaze over and I just press "buy." I suppose there are worse things I could be than a fabric hoarder. Enjoy your weekend.

Ack! Your fabrics are lovely! I especially love those turtles.

milkweed, one of the best childhood memories.
we love Winnie-the-Poo, though nobody here reads about him at bedtime anymore (sniff, sniff), he still holds a strong place in our memories. there is a local business with the name "sanders" on the sign. I mentioned it one time as we were driving by and my daughter laughed and said that she always thinks of Poo Bear when she sees it, too.
what are you thinking of making with the fabric?
